Salary: Scale 6 (Spinal Column Points 26-28)  £19,103

Hours of work: 35 hrs per week, term time only

Required to start as soon as possible, we require an experienced PA who will provide a high level of flexible support to the Chief Executive Officer in achieving the Trust’s aims and objectives; maintaining the highest possible standards of customer care at all times.

The post holder will support and organise the CEOs day to day diary and correspondence, provide administrative support to the COO and facilitate meetings etc for the core MAT team.

You will be a great organiser, have excellent keyboard and IT skills and the interpersonal skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders to support the Trust’s core team.

Hours of work are flexible to meet the needs of the Trust but will not routinely exceed 35 hours per week. Occasional evening work is expected.

Part-Time Receptionist

Salary: Scale 2 (Spinal Column Points 1c to 2)  

Hours of work: 10 hrs per week 9.00  – 11.00 Monday to Friday term-time only

The Governing Body, Principal, Teaching and Support staff are enthusiastically committed to maintaining a warm, friendly caring, family atmosphere, which is evident and appreciated by all visitors to the school.

We are looking to appoint a receptionist with a friendly and professional manner who will be efficient and helpful in assisting pupils, parents, staff and visitors at the school and who can provide a supporting role to our School Administrator.  The role will include answering the telephone, general clerical duties, data inputting and word processing. 

Daily duties will include:

  • Ensuring that the registers for each class have been completed, using the school’s management information system and checking that any absences are logged correctly and followed up where necessary
  • Daily print outs of Evacuation Report for Fire Register and Administration Report for pupil totals to include meal numbers for each day for the catering department
  • Handling phone calls and absence mailbox and completion of relevant paperwork for completeness
  • Taking money for various purchases including uniform, tickets for performances, etc and keeping a record
  • General support to the school administrator

Ad-hoc duties will include:

  • Assist in ensuring the school’s management information system pupil information and emergency contact details are up to date
  • Request information from Staff/Principal of various news within the school and any relevant details for monthly newsletter and producing a monthly issue on the first Friday of each month. To assist in updating where necessary the Parent Hub school communication system to ensure that the details held are correct and it is being used efficiently.
